The Beach House was totally re-built in 2014 and extends to some 138m2, the property benefits from double glazing and heating by way of a Mitsubishi air to water heat pump supplying underfloor heating to the ground floor, supplemented by a log burning stove in the open-plan living room/kitchen. Location

Located at the end of the access track, the property enjoys delightful unrestricted views to Loch Dunvegan, the Macleod Tables and the Cullin mountains. The rural area of Uiginish is only 3 miles from the pretty village of Dunvegan located on the shores of Loch Dunvegan in the North West of Skye. The area is famous for Dunvegan Castle, seat of the chief of Clan MacLeod.

The Giant MacAskill Museum, which celebrates the life of the very tall Angus Mòr MacAskill was established here in 1989. There are lovely woodland walks in the area and the nearby Coral Beaches are one of Skye’s hidden gems. The property is situated 5 miles from the world famous Michelin Star Three Chimney’s Restaurant and local amenities in Dunvegan include hotels, bakery, restaurant, filling station, general store, medical centre.

Skye’s capital, Portree, is approximately 21 miles away and offers a comprehensive range of amenities and supermarkets.
